Hi anyone who is still reading my posts. We are back in Bahrain having enjoyed a five week summer holiday in Scotland. We were pretty lucky with the weather considering what you have all had to put up with this year. We had some lovely days and managed to enjoy many games of golf on a lot of courses. I even managed to win a couple of prizes.
The sun is still shining here as we face the start of another school year. Michael's stay here in Bahrain is almost over with only a week to go. This is the Eid holiday here now to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan so he has only two more days to complete. I don't think he will be sorry to get back to the rain!
A couple of weeks after he goes back we are expecting Ashley for her second visit. We are hoping to take in a weekend in Dubai when she is here. She wants to visit the Burj Al Khalifa which is the tallest building in the world so I am currently planning that.
A couple of weeks after that Babs, Dave and Valerie are due to arrive. We wont be visiting the tallest building with them but I will have to get a wee step so that Babs can get into my Jeep! We are really looking forward to all of our visitors arriving. If you want to be next then drop me a line.
Ah well onwards and upwards.
