Well that's Ramadan over for another year. All the shops are back to normal, all eating establishments are open and people are eating again in public. Its amazing how we have gone from knowing nothing at all about the culture here to starting to understand. I am not sure we will ever get used to the chanting prayers that belt from the mosque loudspeakers throughout the day and night. The weather is once again sunny and hot just as you would want it for the holidays. Apparently we shouldnt expect much change until into October. I can't really understand why they have a weather forecast on the telly every night. Maybe it's the same recording over and over. They could record the full week in one day and then go home.
Might do some island exploring this week. I am getting more comfortable with the navigation and that makes travel a whole load easier. Now at least I know what side of the road I should be on which is more than can be said for some of the locals!
It will soon be your weekend so enjoy.
