OK we have had a chance to grab a bite of supper and it olny remains for me to update you all. Despite Claire's best efforts the upgrade to business clas did not take place. The checkin man told us that we had been upgraded and ushered us to the business class queue. We checked in and made our way to the plane where we were in fact not in business. We weren't really that bothered for the short flight to Amsterdam so said nothing. When we got to Amsterdam we realised that our seats to Bahrain were not businesss class either but worse than that they were not even near each other. I brought this to the attention of staff ad showed them the booking we had with adjacent seats. After a bit of tooing and froing she m anaged to move a few passengers and get us seats together.
The flights were very pleasant and we arrived in good time. If anybody is coming by that route it is worthwhile to note that every other day the flight is direct from Amsterdam to Bahrain and on alternate days it stops in Kuwait (as it did on our original flight). It saves about 2 hours journey time if the direct flight is in operation. It is the same on the way back so we will be checking carefull and taing the direct option wherever practicable.
House is all in order here and the temperature tonight is 15 degrees. We dont need the air conditioning on but then again we dont need heating yet either!!!

Glad to hear you have arrived back and all is ok at the villa.We too enjoyed seeing you both again but the time we had with you just flew in it just seems like yesterday that you arrived still all good things come to an end sooner or later will get back to you later like you we are ready for bed wanted to hear from you before we retired for the night good night love mumxxxx
