We dont actually have any snow in Bahrain to get an extra day off like you lot but we do have the King of Bahrain. He has graciously (and suddenly at 6pm tonight) given all of the schools the day off tomorrow. Now I would like to say that its in sympathy for the poor weather in Scotland but I think its actually because Bahrain has won some Culture or Heritage Award. Whatever the reason I thank him for the opportunity to relax tomorrow and have a long weekend.
I hope you are all managing to get along without access to the shops and provisions and I hope that it all melts before we come home. This time in two weeks we will be checking in for our flight home.
Cheers for now
David
Oh David we hope you will be checking in in 2 weeks time. The weather is the worst I can remember. Kids and me walked to town centre today and it was hard going, the pavements are atrocious. Managed to get a bus back but only as far as Glenwood High. There appears to be no let up and more forecast tonight and through tommorow. pretty sure schools will be off all week. TAke care. speak soon. Love Judith x
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to imagine when we are basking in sunshine. Surely there will be some respite before two weeks have passed! Keep the photos coming the kids here are loving them (although not tomorrow, hurrah hurrah for the King).
