Remember we thought the coffee was expensive?

Tonight we were shopping in Alosra supermarket getting a few messages when I spotted a McSween's haggis. Alongside were some other fresh haggi (haggi being the plural of haggis) priced at .... wait for it ..... BD9.30. Can you remember how to convert? Double it and take away 10% so I'll save you the maths ... £16.74 for a wee ball haggis. It wasn't the sort of thing you would see at a Burns supper for 50, it was the sort of thing that you would doubt whether it was actually big enough for two! Haggis will have to wait till we get home. I suppose someone must buy them or they wouldn't stock them but to be sure it wont be us.

It has definitely turned cooler tonight. All of a sudden it is feeling much cooler. According to the internet it is still 27 degrees but it feels much cooler than that. Don't get me wrong, it's not cold but markedly cooler. I am not sure how permanent it is. We'll have to see tomorrow.

Best wishes to all
David and Sheila
